Step into the historic heart of Tokyo with this kimono photoshoot experience in Asakusa, guided by a professional photographer. In the soft natural light, the district reveals its true character—from the intricate architecture of Sensō-ji Temple to the lively traditional streets and hidden corners that still feel like old Tokyo. Dressed in kimono, you’ll be fully immersed in the atmosphere while capturing timeless, elegant images.  Your experience begins at our partner store, Yae Kimono Rental, where you will select your outfit. A standard kimono experience is included in your booking, featuring a kimono or yukata, accessories, and hairstyling for women. For those who wish to elevate their look, optional upgrades to premium kimonos and accessories are available directly in-store.  Please note: All guests must arrive one hour before the scheduled photoshoot time to allow for kimono dressing and preparation.  This photoshoot focuses on the history, craftsmanship, and cultural depth of Asakusa. Walk through temple grounds, pass beneath iconic gates, and explore atmospheric side streets. The daytime setting creates clean, vibrant, and timeless images with a naturally elegant feel.  Your photographer will guide you throughout the session, helping with posing and direction so you feel relaxed and confident—no modeling experience needed. Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends, this experience captures you immersed in one of Tokyo’s most iconic districts.  After the session, you will receive 35–45 professionally edited photos, delivered digitally. Each image is carefully retouched with refined adjustments to color, lighting, and skin tones to enhance the natural beauty of the setting.  We are happy to accommodate a wide range of body types, including plus sizes. As a general guideline, kimonos can be worn by anyone (regardless of gender) with bust, waist, and hip measurements up to 150 cm each. Height guidelines are up to 185 cm (6'0.8") for women and up to 205 cm (6'7") for men.
